Warning regarding scam emails

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch in Nottinghamshire

We have been informed by one of our subscribers on Hucknall East of a scam email he received yesterday.

This supposedly came from Currys PC World regarding an order. The message contained a Product Code, Installation Code and a Reference Number along with details of the cost.

An email contact was included which was order.notification@anderskev.com.

As the subscriber had not placed any orders with Currys he contacted them on 03445 610000 and was told the email was bogus and warned not to click on any links or menus within the message and to delete it.

Always be wary of any emails you receive from unknown sources and never click on links if you do not trust the sender.
