MANSFIELD AND DISTRICT – 7 DAYS TO Saturday Sent on behalf of Mansfield District Commander Nick Butler.

 Crimes reported over the past 9 days, 12:00 23rd February 2019- 12:00 Noon 4th March 2019.

Only those areas with reported crimes are listed.

Berry Hill
 Burglary Dwelling;
Monday the 4th March 2 properties were broken into  on Black Scotch Lane, between the hours of 17.00hours on Sunday 3rd March and Monday 4th March at 09.00hours . Entry was gained through the patio door.

Theft From Motor Vehicle:
 
Sunday the 24th February a vehicle was parked on Valley View has been broken into overnight. No damage. Vehicle was searched, but nothing taken.
 
Sunday the 24th February a vehicle was parked on Admirals Court has been broken into overnight. Between the hours of 18.00hours on Saturday the 23rd February and 08.00hours on Sunday the 24th February No damage. Vehicle searched, but nothing taken.
 
An insecure vehicle on the Roddery was entered at 03.45hours on Sunday the 24th February. No damage. Glove-box was searched, but nothing taken.
 
An insecure vehicle on Heathfield Way was entered at 03.30 hours on Sunday the 24th February Nothing taken.
 
Vehicle was broken into whilst parked  on The Roddery happened on Saturday 23rd February between the hours of 22.00hours and 07.00hours on Sunday the 24th February. Bag containing £3 of change was stolen.
 
Theft Of Motor Vehicle:
Transit, drop- sided lorry carrying coal was stolen with keys from Highland Road at 14.59hours on Friday the 1st March.
 
 
Broomhill
 
 Burglary Dwelling;
 
Damage caused to the wooden door frame of a property on Mount Street, whilst attempting to gain entry. This happened between the 10.30hours and 14.30hpurs on Thursday 28th February


Theft From Motor Vehicle:
 
Disable blue badge stolen from a car parked on Stafford Street. This happened between 19.00hours on Thursday the 28th February and 10.00hours on Friday the 1st March. No damage caused to the car.
 
Number plates were stolen from a vehicle parked on Hareholme Street, between 08.00hours and 19.30hours on Friday the 1st March
 
Theft Of Motor Vehicle:
 
Vehicle was stolen from Arundale Drive, whilst parked overnight. Happened between 14.00hours on Sunday the 24th February and 11.00hours on Monday the 25th February

 Cumberlands:
 
Theft From Motor Vehicle:
 
Insecure vehicle was broken into on Beck Crescent between the hours of 18.00hours on Sunday the 10th February 18.00hours and 06.00hours on Wednesday the 13th February. Items were taken from inside. This was reported to the police on the 27th February.
 
 
Forest Town East
 
 
Theft Other:
At 03.00hours on Tuesday the 26th February a garden was entered on Fifth Avenue and attempted to steal a BBQ. Male pulled the gates of the hinges causing damage.
 
Apple ear pods taken from a property on Eighth Avenue, they were last used on the 24th February. This incident was reported to the police on Tuesday the 2nd March.
 




Forest Town West
 
Theft From Motor Vehicle:
 
A unsecure vehicle was broken into whilst parked on Coronation drive at 1845hours on Tuesday the 2nd March. The glove box had been searched and items were strewn on the front seat, interior light was left on.
 
Theft Of Motor Vehicle:
 
A vehicle was stolen from Laurel Avenue between am on Sunday the 24th February and Monday 06.00 hours on the 25th February, taken without keys.
 
Theft Other:
 
A report of stolen fish from a pond on Laurel Avenue, Police informed on Wednesday the 27th February
 
 

Ladybrook
 
Theft from Motor Vehicle:
Van was broken into on Garnon Street and was also moved in the early hours of Sunday the 3rd March. Doors had been left open and power tools were stolen.

Theft Other:
 
 Caller was walking on Bancroft Lane at 14.50hours on Thursday the 28th February, when a male asked him to change a £5 note. Caller took out his wallet, then this taken from the callers hand and the male then ran away with the wallet and its contents.



 
 

Lindhurst:
 
Burglary Dwelling:
 
A property on Newark Drive was broken into on Sunday the 24th February at 19.27hours.
 
On Helmsley Road a property was broken into on Monday the 25th February between the hours of 1000hours and 17.48hours. The back door had been smashed to gain entry.
 

Burglary Other Than Dwelling:
 
Attempt break in between the 1st March 20.30 hours and 10.30 hours at a shop on Egmanton Road.


 
 Oak Tree


Burglary Dwelling:
A pushbike was stolen from the inside porch on an address on Melbourne Court on Saturday the 23rd February by a known offender.
 
 
Theft Other:
Cable stolen from a site on Jubilee Way North, happened between the hours of 06.00hours -08.00hours on Saturday the 2nd March.
 
Theft of Motor Vehicle:
 
White transit van was stolen overnight between 20.30hours on Tuesday 26th February and 07.30hours on Wednesday the 27th February.
 
 

Pleasley Hill:
 
Burglary Dwelling:
 
Report that between 10.30hours and 17.55 hours on Monday the 25th February an attempt has been made on a property via the patio doors on Mandalay Road. Doors have been damaged.
 
A property has been broken into exact date unknown, on Broughton Avenue. Money has been taken, unknown how entry was gained.

 Theft from Motor Vehicle:
 A Car was broken into overnight Friday the 22nd February 19.30hours and 10.30hours Saturday 23rd February whilst parked on Cardale Road. Messy search was carried out, but nothing taken.
Caller was loading his tools from a vehicle on Chesterfield Road into a new build property. Power tools were stolen at 12.00hours on Sunday the 3rd March.
 
Theft Of Motor Vehicle:
 
9 Tonne dumper truck has been stolen from a building site on Water4 Lane overnight. Last seen 18.30 hours on Wednesday the 27th February. Vehicle was taken without keys.

Burglary Other than Dwelling:
 
Monday the 25th February, at19.31hours a commercial building on Kings Mill Way, Industrial Estate a fire door was forced to gain entry.
 
Monday the 25th February, at19.42hours a commercial building on Hermitage Way, Industrial Estate break at this location.
 
Wednesday 27th February cladding has been forced from the rear of a commercial building on Hermitage Way Industrial Estate, at 22.20hour.
 
Theft from Motor Vehicle:
 
A vehicle parked on Derby Street on 23rd February between the hours of 18.15 hours and 05.25 hours on the 24th February was broken into. A phone and cash were stolen from within.
 
A car was broken into whilst parked on Roseberry Hill happened between 25th February 19.00hours and 07.00 hours on Tuesday the 26th


Robin Hood:
 
Burglary Dwelling:
Garage has been broken into on Eastleigh Drive reported on Sunday the 24th February. Power tools and bike were stolen. Garage was secure but pad locks were removed.
 
Monday the 4thmarch a property on Shakespeare Avenue had the door handles ripped off. This happened between the hours of 17.30hours and 22.00hours. Nothing taken and no entry gained.
 
Burglary Other than Dwelling:
 
Shed break happened between the hours of 16.00hours on Saturday the 23rd February and 07.00hours on Sunday the 24th February, on a garden of property on Dundee Drive.
 
Sycamore Road, a shed was broken into happened at 19.00 and 23.00hours on Sunday the 3rd March.
 
 
Theft from Motor Vehicle:
 
A pushbike was stolen from the back of a camper Van parked on Eastleigh Drive on Saturday 23rd February.
 
Theft Other:
Reports of a male stealing top soil from a field on Cox’s Lane happened on Wednesday 27th February at 1845hours.
 
Two mountain bikes stolen from a shed on Hereford Avenue, between  Sunday 17th February  19.30hours and 07.30hours on Monday  18th February.
 
 
Sherwood:
 
Burglary Dwelling:.
 
 A shed was broken into on Chesterfield Road South. This happened between 23.30 hours on Friday the 22nd February.
 
Known male has been into an address on Burlington Drive and taken cash on Monday 25th February.
 
 
Theft from Motor Vehicle:
 
Number plates stolen from a vehicle parked on the road on Oxclose Lane. This was reported to the police on Saturday the 23rd February.
 
 
Theft Of Motor Vehicle:
 
Motor scooter has been stolen from St John Street Mansfield. This happened between 09.20hours and 09.50hours on Saturday the 2nd March.
 
Theft Other:
 
Lead has been stolen from a roof of a property on Stone-Cross Court.  This happened between Tuesday the 26th February and Wednesday 27th February.
